Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Baluation is run by Baluation Services Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you use the Baluation website and app.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older and give true details.
• An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; we offer two-step sign-in and suggest you use it.
• A firm's owner is responsible for the people they invite and the cities and roles they give them.

3. What Baluation gives you

Tools and information for property work: maps, planning and regulatory information, registered project details, guideline values, valuation workings and reports. The information is compiled from public records published by government departments and authorities, and from what you and your firm add.

4. Information, not advice

• Public records can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and maps are approximate, not survey-grade. Check anything important with the authority that issued it.
• Baluation is not a valuer. Valuations, opinions and reports are the valuer's own. Baluation never signs or seals a report.
• Nothing on Baluation is legal, financial or investment advice.

5. Fair use

Each account has daily limits on lookups and map use, set well above what valuation work needs. You must not:

• copy, scrape, crawl or download Baluation's data or maps in bulk, or try to rebuild them;
• use bots, scripts or other automated tools, or get around limits, security checks or access controls;
• share your account, or resell or publish Baluation's data;
• take apart or copy the software;
• use Baluation unlawfully, to harm anyone, or upload anything you have no right to.

We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, and we keep records of misuse.

6. Your content

Documents, photos, workings and reports you add stay yours or your firm's. You let us store and process them only to run Baluation for you. A firm's completed work is visible only inside that firm.

7. Our content

Baluation's software, design, compilations, maps and map images belong to us or those who license them to us. You may use the workings and reports you make for your own work and your clients.

8. Price

Baluation is free during early access. We will tell you before anything costs money.

9. Changes and availability

We may change, pause or stop parts of Baluation, and early access may have interruptions. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app; using Baluation after that means you accept the change.

10. Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using information on Baluation. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Closing an account

You can close your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. What should last after that (such as sections 4, 7 and 10) does.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru decide any dispute.
